THE BEST CAGE FREE DOG DAY CARE
In addition to training and boarding, Blue Dog Ranch now offers full cage free dog day care! Our 24-hour staffed facility with our well-trained canine cuddlers covers almost an entire street block. We are conveniently located near Warner Brothers, Disney Studios and the Burbank Airport, close to the 5, 134 and 101 freeways and only 5 minutes from downtown Burbank.
Our doggie guests enjoy a ranch-like setting with a variety of large and small, indoor and outdoor play yards, a specialized doggie pool and lots of beds and pillows to snooze on. Your cuddly canine will spend the day playing in our different yards and napping in a large, suite-like, indoor enclosed area, with the option of heated flooring. Our facility is well protected by block walls and double gates – making it impossible for even the “escape artists” amongst our dog friends to get out.
Boarding your beloved pooch with us will give you more peace of mind than having a dog walker or sitter coming to your home. To make sure your doggie stays cool during the hot valley summers, mister systems are placed throughout the facility and we have air conditioning in addition to our large doggie pool.
We offer safe play and socialization time for your doggies under the guidance of David Roe, owner and trainer of Blue Dog Ranch. We keep your dog properly engaged in play and provide the best care for each unique guest. Small dogs and large dogs are always in separate playgroups. We also offer quiet, private lounge areas for our senior dogs, so they can enjoy a relaxed stay.
The options are endless and our canine cuddlers are ready to snuggle up with your beloved pooch.
Although no appointment is needed for cage free dog day care, please schedule your first visit with our office. At your doggie’s visit he/she will be “tested” for friendliness with other dogs and will be paired up accordingly in our playgroups. There is a one-time $15 evaluation fee for this initial process and your dog will be able to stay for cage free dog day care the same day, once passing the “doggie interview”.
- Dogs must undergo a short EVALUATION in which your dog will gradually be introduced to existing daycare doggie clients and must be friendly with other doggies compatible in size and temperament
- Dogs must be on flea medication
- Dogs must have current records of the following vaccinations or titer tests showing that they have antibodies against the diseases they protect against:
- DDHLP within the last year
- Bordatella within the last year (every 6 months is not necessary)
- Rabies within the last year
- Spay/neuter certificate
